Bob Cochran is the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of CTG LLC, based in Richmond, Virginia. He has extensive experience in the energy and national security sector and has also been involved in supporting environmental, nuclear, and major capital construction programs. Currently, he is focused on the development and execution of energy and nuclear sector programs in the United States and internationally.
Prior to his role at CTG LLC, Cochran served as the CEO and President of Westinghouse Government Services, where he was responsible for the government business associated with Westinghouse operations.
Before that, he was the President and Officer Director of CB&I Federal Services Inc in Alexandria, VA. In this role, Cochran oversaw the operations and development of a business that generated $500 million in revenue. The activities included engineering and construction, operations and maintenance of mission-critical installations and facilities, nuclear decommissioning, environmental remediation, and weapons support systems.
Cochran also served as the Board Chair for Pantex Plant & Y12 National Security Site from 2007 to 2011. In this position, he was directly responsible for the performance and operations of the nation's nuclear weapons production enterprise. The combined workforce of these operations was approximately 6,000 employees, and the total funding was approximately $1.4 billion. The production operations were responsible for manufacturing specialized components, chemical processes, assembly and disassembly of nuclear weapons, and safe storage of high-enriched uranium.
As the President of TSG, Inc., a subsidiary of The Babcock & Wilcox Company, Cochran had operational and management responsibility for more than 10,000 employees across multiple nuclear facilities. He also served as the chairman of the B&W Y-12 and Pantex LLC Board of Directors, as well as on the boards of various other organizations related to nuclear energy and security.
Cochran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering from James Madison University and has also studied at the University of Richmond - Robins School of Business.
